LARRY GREEN of Sedona Earns his Life Masters in December, 2006.

Larry Green earned his Life Masters with his final points earned as part of a winning knockout team at the Palm Springs Regional in December (partners Mimi Esser, Catherine McCulloch, and Regina Kramer).
Larry has earned Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Electrical Engineering. He lived his early years in Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He worked at RCA in New Jersey and played his first bridge game at lunch when a fourth player was needed. He played in the 60's against such notable players as Norman Kay, Bobby Goldman, Charles Goren and Barry Crane. His favorite partners were Millie Gillette and Ralph Brooks Turner. Larry moved to Los Angeles in 1965 and for various reasons, gave up bridge.
Larry was re-introduced to bridge again in Sedona in 2004 by Joe Capalbo, who has since passed away.Larry has studied 2/1 with Suzanne Wells and has partnered with her on many occasions. Larry was also member of the Kavanaugh team (Partners Jay Kavanaugh, Jan Birkett & Leighton Johnson) that won almost 28 Master points at the Las Vegas Regional last June by winning 3 knockout events.
Larry is planning his future achievements. As an Engineer, he has already calculated that he earned 100 points in 2005, 200 in 2006. If he continues to double each year, by 2014, he will be able to surpass Paul Soloway (who has 64,237 points) by having a total of 102,300!
Congratulations to Larry!
