Happy 85th Birthday Rollin Brewer



Rollin Brewer and Mimi Esser are pictured at the Cinco
de Mayo party May 5th. Rollin turns 85 on May 6th,2008.
Mimi is a Jazz music fanatic and Rollin is playing a record
he purchased in 1936 from the Ellison Record Company. Mimi guessed the name of the tune "What is this thing called love" but could not guess the band "Glenn Gray and
his Casaloma Orchestra". Rollin also brought Herb Alpert music and a replica of a Crosley turntable (33,45, 78 RPM/ FM/AM and CD player). Rollin once had a 3 hour radio show on KQST in Sedona playing Big Band music from is collection of albums. Rollin worked for Dick Gilbert, who started KQST radio station and was also his engineer.
