Our Dear Friend, Faye Clements (center) passed away on Friday, June 26th, 2009 from
cancer. A funeral mass will be conducted at St. John Vianney church (180 Soldiers Pass Road) on Friday, July 3rd at 11 A.M. The service will be followed by a reception that will also be held at the church. Club members and friends are
encouraged to attend.
Faye was a very special person to all of us. She was full of energy and fun loving. She had
"character", and lots of it.
In her last days, she was also courageous. Not wanting to dwell on her own fate, she wanted to know how other bridge friends with illnesses (Rollin and Pat Kirby) were doing. She also asked a lot about our newcomer program. She expressed concern for her husband, Reed.
We will miss Faye Clements. She was a unique person, one like most of us have never met and probably never meet again.
